Taylor is dedicated to creating a supportive, genuine, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences while also being encouraged toward meaningful growth. He believes therapy is most effective when built on a strong, authentic connection, where clients feel both understood and gently challenged.

His approach is trauma-informed and grounded in a systemic perspective, recognizing that many struggles are shaped by relationships, family dynamics, and life experiences. He incorporates elements of family systems, relational therapy, and parts work to help clients better understand themselves, including the different "parts" of who they are and how those parts show up in daily life and relationships.

Taylor strives to provide culturally responsive care and values working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. He approaches each client with curiosity and respect, recognizing the importance of culture, identity, and lived experience in shaping how people understand themselves and the world around them.

He has a strong focus on working with individuals and families impacted by substance use and addictive patterns, as well as the ways these challenges affect relationships and sense of self. He also works with clients navigating ADHD, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, identity development, relational conflict, and experiences of hopelessness or suicidal thoughts.

Taylor's background in community mental health and his experience as a first responder have shaped his ability to remain steady and present with clients during high stress or crisis situations, while maintaining a compassionate and grounded approach to care.

He values creating a space where clients feel supported and accepted, while also helping them build insight, develop practical tools, and begin to shift patterns that may be keeping them stuck. He works collaboratively with clients to move toward a more balanced, authentic, and fulfilling way of living.
