Sarah Kohl

Sarah is a registered nurse and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner student at the University of Oklahoma. She joins Drue Day Counseling as a medical assistant, supporting the medication management clinic and helping the practice grow.

Sarah was drawn to healthcare to serve neurocomplex and LGBTQIA2S+ communities, and she brings lived experience to that mission. Before nursing, she worked as a software engineer for Walmart Health, which gives her an analytical, systems-minded approach to healthcare coordination. Her nursing background spans orthopedic rehab, cardiac stepdown, and both outpatient and inpatient psychiatry. She completed her master's degree at Emory University and her bachelor's at UC Santa Cruz (go Banana Slugs).

Outside the clinic, Sarah plays keyboard, learns languages, and is active in the ska and punk rock communities.
